Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Matthew Zwart
A graduate of Unity Christian High School and Dordt College, Dr. Zwart returned to his home area with his wife Tonia in the summer of 2012. Dr. Zwart enjoys all facets of dentistry and has been blessed to become part of such a caring, gentle, and modern dental office. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Zwart enjoys spending time with his family, including his three children Eliana, Selah, and Theo.
Dr. Zwart is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and an active member of the Sioux City Dental Society, Iowa Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Carla Hoekstra
Dr. Carla A. (Billiet) Hoekstra graduated from Sioux City North High School in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Buena Vista University in 2003 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Iowa in 2007.
Dr. Hoekstra remains an active member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Northwest District of the Iowa Dental Association, Sioux City Dental Society, is currently serving as Chair of the Northwest District of the Iowa Dental Board Peer Review Committee, and has also volunteered at six of the Iowa Mission of Mercy events.
