Same Day Crowns - CAD/CAM Dentistry

Using Cerec 3D scanning combined with state of the art in-office milling of strong and beautiful porcelain crowns and conservative inlays and onlays can be completed in a single appointment.  After preparing the tooth, we use the Cerec scanner to create a 3D model. Then we use CAD/CAM software to custom design a crown that fits in with your teeth and bite. After designing, a wet milling unit is used to precisely form the restoration. The restoration is then crystallized in an oven and ready to be cemented.

Use of CEREC technology increases efficiency and accuracy, and can often reduce the overall number of patient visits needed. No more impressions or temporary crowns in most cases.

Digital X-Ray

Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation needed as compared to film x-rays.  The improved diagnostic capability of digital x-rays and the ability to view the x-rays on a computer screen allow the patient to better understand and follow treatment.  Digital x-rays are instant, there is no longer a need to develop the film.  Digital x-rays save time and increase patient care.  It’s also a very green technology.  By eliminating film, developer and chemical waste it is better for you and the environment!

Digital Intraoral Cameras

A picture is worth a thousand words - as the sang goes, so is the case with dental problems. By being able to show you with digital cameras exactly what your teeth looks like you are able to make better decisions in regard to needed treatment.

Conebeam Digital 3D X-Ray

Conebeam 3D technology allows us to improve our diagnosis abilities by showing a 3D view of your mouth and jaw. This is useful in finding hidden infections that previously were unable to be found with regular xrays.

Conebeams are also critical in implant dentistry. Using the 3D xray we are able to visualize and measure the bone so the implant can be precisely planned and placed.

Hard and Soft Tissue Dental Lasers

Lasers are a great alternative for extremely high anxiety patients. In limited situations we are able to do fillings without numbing with the Waterlase iPlus laser.  The laser also is an excellent alternative to using a blade in surgical procedures allowing for less post op pain and quicker healing.

Wi-Fi and Flat Screen TV's

Our office offers free Wi-Fi for our patients use while visiting our office and also provide over the head tv's during treatment to make the time fly by.
